Before you order a key
Match the FCC ID and part number from your current key, not just the photo. The same-looking fob can come in different frequencies and chips for different years. Our guide buying a key fob online shows what to check.
What to send us
- Year, make and model, and whether it's push to start.
- A photo of the back of the key you bought, or the label with the FCC ID and part number.
- Whether you still have a working key.
When we'll suggest our key instead
Some cars accept only certain keys, and some aftermarket fobs won't take programming at all. There's no way to know for sure on a few models until we're at the car. When that's likely, we'll say so and offer a key we know works, so the job gets finished in one visit.
Warranty
Our programming and labor carry a 3-year warranty. The key itself is covered only when we supply it: 3 years for original keys, 1 year for aftermarket. Keys you supply aren't covered, because we can't vouch for where they came from.

Will an Amazon key fob work on my car?
Sometimes. Check the FCC ID and part number against your current key. Send us a photo and we tell you before we come.
Can you program a used fob?
Some used fobs can be reused, many are locked to their first car. Send a photo first.
Can you put my old key into a new shell?
No, we don't do shell swaps. We can program a new complete key instead.
Do you cut the blade too?
Yes, if the key has a blade we cut it to your lock at the car.
